Sorry, Wrong Number
A one-act thriller
by Lucille Fletcher

June 22 & 23, 2024
3:00pm at The Blue Brick Theatre
Downtown State College

Presented as a part of the
Central PA Theatre and Dance Fest

A mystery thriller, the tale of a neurotic invalid, whose only contact with the outside world is her phone. Over this, one night, because of a crossed wire, she hears plans for a murder, which turns out to be her own. Her frantic efforts to enlist help through the only means at her disposal, her growing terror and realization of the truth, and (along the way) the hints about her own life and personality she lets drop, make this a full character portrait not only of herself but of the unseen murderer.

SORRY, WRONG NUMBER is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection. (www.dramatists.com)"

Meet The Cast

Heidi Cole

Mrs. Stevenson

Heidi is wondering how she got caught up this... She’s usually a bit of a comedienne (like in last year’s The Iliad, The Odyssey and All of Greek Mythology (in 99 Minutes or Less) with SCCT or her version of Mr. Paravicini in Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap with S&B), so she’s quite nervous about this little endeavor. What was that noise in the darkness? A thriller? Is 2022 repeating itself? Will Heidi survive?

Lynn Theodose

Operators

Lynn is excited to be participating in her second production with Sock & Buskin. Last fall’s The Final Rose was her first time on stage in over 30 years!  She is having a ball rediscovering her love of theater and connecting with the S&B community. There’s something very special about collaborative creativity. Lynn is inspired by the passion and hard work of the talented people she’s met through this community, and eternally grateful to her husband, Mark, for his unwavering support and encouragement.

Zachary Myers

Ensemble

Zach is excited to be continuing his dream job as an unpaid actor in community theatre with Sock &Buskin! After a number of shows with S&B, including Sinergy, Moon Over Buffalo, and The Mousetrap, it’s a wonder they still allow him around. Zach would like to thank S&B for creating such a welcoming and fun-loving community. He would also like to thank his spouse Max and his best friend Lilli for their support as he tries to avoid laughing on stage.

Connor Heimerman

Ensemble

Connor is excited to be performing for the second time with Sock & Buskin. He was last seen in The Final Rose as Brad Masters with Sock & Buskin. When not on stage Connor works as a server at Olive Garden as well as a part time leader at Penn's Valley Youth Center.

Meet The Production Team

Joseph Appel

Director  |  Stage Manager

Joe is excited to be directing his first project with S&B after assisting on this spring’s Suite Surrender.  He thanks the dedicated cast for agreeing to work on this play and making it fun.  Much gratitude to the production team for everything.  Love to his family and friends back in NYC.

Stefanie Austin

Producer

Stefanie is the current President and a Founding Director of Sock & Buskin Theatre Company. Since 2014, Stefanie has held roles both on and off stage in a number of productions by SCCT, Nittany Theatre, and S&B. Most recently, you may have seen her as Rebecca in S&B’s The Final Rose (Feb.), and presently she is playing Gwen in Rapture, Blister, Burn. Later this year, she will be the production manager for S&B’s short play showcase (Jul.) and directing Rehearsal for Murder (Sep.). She also in the midst of writing 3 plays! She thanks her husband, Peter, and their two kids for their unwavering love and support.

Kyle Stanley

Technical Director  | Light & Sound Designer

Kyle is delighted to work light and sound in this production of Sorry, Wrong Number! Though his first time in a backstage role, Kyle has performed in productions for both SCCT (Dead Tuesday and Clue) and Sock and Buskin (86’ed and The Witching Hour). Kyle would like to thank his friends and family for their continued support on and off the stage!

Lilli Falcon-Gunter

Assistant Stage Manager

Lilli is excited to be a part of this production of Sorry Wrong Number alongside an amazing cast and crew! Her previous S&B appearances include The Mousetrap, Suite Surrender, Cutthroat Christmas and Sinergy. Lilli is so grateful to her husband Josh and her best friend Zach for always supporting her dramatic antics. She hopes you enjoy the show!
