A Note from the Director
This multi-layered performance piece was first presented in 2008 and has been appearing all over ever since. Dramatized by Nora and Delia Ephron from the book by Ilene Beckerman, it deals with the relationship between a woman’s life experiences and her wardrobe. Often reminding us of the sort of comic writing she produced in 'When Harry Met Sally' and 'Sleepless in Seattle', Ephron also includes sometimes very sad or even shocking events. We learn a great deal about emotions and affirmation through this series of 28 scenes. We hope you will grow as fond of the women depicted here as we have. It’s been a great pleasure for me to direct this amazing cast.
